Solving the location problem of front distribution center for omni-channel retailing

Abstract Consumer demand and retailing models nowadays are being upgraded more frequently. More retailers switching to the Omni-channel model. Choosing a reasonable location for front distribution center (FDC) helps control an enterprise's cost improves its service level. This is especially true in existence of fierce competition. In this paper, two important contradictory objectives proposed first time FDC problem: minimizing costs from facility fixed facility's location. For these objectives, bi-objective programming model established by considering factors capacity, rent fluctuation. Meanwhile, problem has been solved compromising elite set multi-objective simulated annealing algorithm respectively. Taking locations e-commerce enterprise region Beijing as empirical sample, paper uses above algorithms re-plan enterprise. provides support retail enterprises helping find best Based on results, some comments future research directions also proposed.
